I got bored yesterday so while watching Sucker Punch I just have to cut my hair... haha I felt like seven again. I remember the first time I did that my mother went berserk and punished me and hid all the scissors in the house.

Now I'm simply free to do whatever I want with my hair but given that it wont go way overboard or strange. Secretly, I'm dying to try out the skinhead look but I know everyone will scream NO. I can just imagine the look on their faces if ever I did that. Bwahaha! But then I'm too fat to opt for that so maybe dreads perhaps? Hmmm... not really my cup of tea for I already experienced having a hair that almost looked and felt like it and it wasn't a good experience.

So whenever I feel bored with my hair it's either I rush to a salon or resort to DIY. This time I just had my haircut rather trimmed last week but then I felt it's still boring  so I had to do it on my own.

Here it is my new bangs...

Pinoy joke:
What kind of hair explodes?
Bangs!

My mother never noticed it in the morning because I know now how to hide it... haha But I think this is just okay nothing too weird or strange. I'm just waiting for my hair to grow up to my waist so that I can curl them. I wish...

I know this is a silly post but Oh, well I just need to be silly or else boredom will get the best of me and I won't let it rule over me so ciao!

So what are the things you do when you're bored? Do you ever get bored with your hair? Did you cut your own hair when you were little?

Just saw this photo from an article titled 7 Summer Favorite Haircuts @ Instyle with this caption:

Deep Wispy Bangs

NAOMI CAMPBELL’S STYLE: One-length hair cut at the shoulders with soft bangs starting at the middle of the head.

WHAT MAKES IT COOL: "Naomi is always at events and shoots doing different things with her hair," says her hairstylist Amoy Pitters. "Because this cut has no layers, it's versatile and allows her to achieve almost any style."

WHO IT WORKS FOR: "This cut is great for heart and oval faces because it emphasizes the cheekbones and downplays the forehead," Pitters explains. "Be sure to go to a hairstylist with excellent cutting skills. There are no layers, so it's important the length is precise."

Darn, I didn't know I was instyle... haha Oh on second thoughts I just realized it looks sorta Vanessa Hudgens' bangs in Sucker Punch, isn't it? Oh well how dense am I not to know it the first time I saw it, huh?

Btw I'm just talking about the bangs please don't compare damn faces, I can't win in any ways when it comes to that... Oh-kay?

GetGlue is a social network for entertainment. You can check-in and rate things to discover new favorites movies, tv shows, music and books. You can also see what your friends are into, get your very own stickers and win free stuff

I'm not sure of the exact date I registered at GG but I think that was May this year. I discovered it through a fellow Pinoy on twitter (forgot his name already). Even though I can't understand at first the logic of checking in to things like in FourSquare I did join and then forgot about it for a while. Then after a week or so I received an email that my cousin was following me in GG and then I checked it out again and try to understand how it works finally... haha. And only after a few days, I think 3 days, I was able to gain 20 stickers so I ordered my first batch of stickers and after a month here it is... fresh from NYC... ta-da...

I got an opened envelope because my mother thought it was hers because it only says GetGlue Fan.
But I protest for its says GetGlue Fan and it's an obvious giveaway that it's mine... hay adults,
anyways I still got it, so fine even if it's already opened

I figured it was mailed May 27 and our local post office got it June 3 then I only had it yesterday June 27, truly snail mail is pretty slow here huh?

Would you believe these are quality stickers.?
From the hi-quality paper used, printing kind and very adhesive.

I'm actually a collector of stickers, toys, key chains and stationery since I was seven but sad to say people are always getting my stuff so one day btw it's this year that I discovered I only have few stationery left and zero stickers. Darn, until now I still want to say all the four letter words I know just being reminded of that.

My collections aren't really expensive but still those are memories from childhood and just imagine how I treasure those stuff. Some stickers cost as much as my whole baon for a day or for a month combined and some are free from eating junk-foods or drinking colas or from chocolate drinks, those were frakin' priceless. Plus they didn't even ask if they can used them... aarrgh, just like that I thought the whole time I'm away from home that my things are safe but nada, just like that gone with the wind.

Anyways, now I've already relax about this so I let my mother and my late sis' god daughter to share the fun of GG stickers.

I've actually explain to them the meaning of each sticker so they won't get to drag something that isn't them or at least they know what to tell people when they were ask about it. Like the lone wolf sticker that Jonavie wanted so she just settled for the movie goer sticker. I was trying to tell them that those are my awards in GG and so they should just get the 3 free GG logo stickers instead but you know who won so here's where they stick 'em...

At least they're using them and enjoying showing it off.

My late sis' god daughter is so happy for the fact that it came from NYC... haha and I'm happy that at least I made them happy for sharing my stuff with them. Those are free stuff that came for free from my having fun in the net and the smile it brought to their faces are truly priceless.

Now I have extra reasons to be in GG more often. It's not anymore just about the free stickers. GetGlue is actually a community of its own where you socialize, talk to people and make friends while you are having fun and learning.

You'll get to discover new favorites as it says in it's self-description. Movies, TV shows, Music and Books you haven't watch, read or listen to yet. You'll get to discover and rediscover stuff, old and new through people's likes and reviews.

And yes don't forget about the FREE stickers and other specials it offers. I think these are just bonus though for the site itself is already entertaining.

A cool website named I Write Like says...

I got this link from the Fibro and so I thought I might just want to try it too and see what it will say about my writing and ta-da... Well, I'm hesitant because I posted the text of my latest blog entry which is a bit of a prayer so maybe that's the reason why it says Dan Brown.

I Write Like by Mémoires, journal software. Analyze your writing!

And that's the winner I guess, but wth is Cory Doctorow?
Cory Doctorow (born July 17, 1971) is a Canadian blogger, journalist, and science fiction author who serves as co-editor of the blog Boing Boing. He is an activist in favour of liberalising copyright laws and a proponent of the Creative Commons organization, using some of their licences for his books. Some common themes of his work include digital rights management, file sharing, and post-scarcity economics.

Yes ma'am and sir, I googled it and the wiki says it all, obviously... hehe. I don't know but I haven't read anything about his work or even one of his works so maybe the connectors would be the words activist and blogger. But is my activist side really too obvious in my writings? Oh well, I better research more.

And if you want to Check which famous writer you write like with this statistical analysis tool, which analyzes your word choice and writing style and compares them with those of the famous writers go ahead visit I Write Like.

It's been a while since we had this blessed visitor. It has been going on (since I was in high school, I think)  in the subdivision where we live that at least every month She will visit each house for a day or two. But sometimes some households forgot to pass her to the next that it takes more than months before She showed up again to other homes. This in particular had been a year before we had Her again.

It's been too long since I last pray the rosary and myself amazed me that the prayers aren't along those memories that had been washed out by my decision to slack on remembering things. I'm very proud that I now knew I've memorized it by heart. The Hail Holy Queen and the Let Us Pray part but not so much of the Litany.

I just want to have this blog post as a reminder of Her visit and a way of another prayer to thank Her, celebrate Her presence and pray for Her maternal protection for our families and every households, every individual living or not. May the Blessed Mother protect us always.

The Miraculous Medal Apostolate

I pray for WEALTH in all aspect of our lives.
Wealth of guidance.
Wealth of happiness.
Wealth of health.
Wealth of peace of mind.
Wealth of tranquility.
Wealth of compassion.
Wealth of kindness.
Wealth of love.
Wealth of inspiration and creativity.
Wealth of all simplest and joyous things in life.
May we all be rich men in our relationships and everyday life.
May we shower Her the abundance of gratefulness through our own little ways.

I'm sick, lurv sick that is. You know those rare days that I get this virus. My friend has contaminated me with this disease after posting a sort of luv letter or regretful stat on fb. But then to be honest I've been feeling this for a while now, at least for a week I think.

The day I've worn my fave purple dress (thank God it still fits, surprisingly it stretch out). These past few days I'm feeling romantic for no one in particular. I actually got those days as I said rarely maybe once a year but for now it's been too long. My gawd one week almost and I'm writing this way now haha, figured it's really not fitting for me to feel that way. I am ruining my hardcore persona, duh!

I seldom write about romantic love and cheesiness. I'm not a guru in the subject, in fact this is my waterloo. I know how to love but I think I've never experienced it the real way. I'm kinda more difficult to deal with when it comes to romantic love rather than being all out for family and friends. I'm more always on guard and defensive about this. I had boyfriends and I never talk about it. I'm not kiss and tell. I got flings and maybe I consider them all flings... tadaa... boom! Yeah, a romantic confession, darn hope no one gets to read this but then if you happened to please let me know how airhead I am OH-kay?

I can just imagine right now the face of my sister when we were on skype video chatting with a friend I met from the dating site.

He asked me "How many partners you had?"

My sister said straight away, "She never had a boyfriend."

And I answered the question addressing both of them, "I can still count using a single hand."

She never said anything about it but by the looked on her face I knew her thoughts are between "you're bluffing, right?" or she wanted to ask, "really, ate nagkaboyfriend ka na?"

Haha... I can't help but smile thinking about the way she reacted.

That's why I always say I am secretive, very secretive but not anymore. I'm learning to let it out especially the romantic things. I hope I learn and get the feel that there's nothing to be ashamed of being in love.

Why is it I felt that way about it in the first place? Don't ask, I guess I got that bad idea while growing up. Now I know being a flirt isn't a mortal sin, it's part of life, it's part of nature, it's like the way how the butterflies flirt with the flowers for pollen grains but still I've a long way to learn the art of flirting and still knowing me I won't even bother to learn.

That's why good luck to the so called luv life and hope in my few hazy dazy romantic fool episodes I'll meet the one who'll sing this for me...

... and maybe help me consider signing the divorce papers with myself
or join in the threesome =)

We are all a little weird and life's a little weird,
and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours,
we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.
