A good day shouldn't be wasted in disappointments just because people are messing up with you. I've got the sunniest disposition that jives with the weather and there goes my pictures... just perfect!

Edgy outside, Mallows inside.

I'm a one-man team. I fly solo.

Watcha lookin' at?

Which foto is your fave?
This one for me is 💜

The sun and I vibe so very much!
Rain puhleez don't get jealous. 😜

I 💜 the sun as much as I 💜 the rain because the sun makes me look good in my golden olive skin while the rain makes me feel good in every way it can thus both make a pretty woman
inside and out of ME!

The sun🌞 makes me hot
while the rain🌧 makes me cool!

Life is a little shitty but if you learned the art of BS you can make an art even a masterpiece out of that frakkin shit!

I am the captain of my ship you can't auto-pilot a bird that is old skool yet advanced in more ways than y'all know.

Color me blind.
Ain't my colours vivid
enough for you to see?

Y'all know that I'm fluent in sarcasm and for the benefit of those who always say that I should stop self-deprecating I oblige to explain further the title of this post. In layman's term it means that I'm good in peptalk, motivating and empowering myself even in the worst of situation. Are we all good now?

That's all folks.
Hope y'all have a great day I did.
Merci 🌬💜

Hey lovies, I'm freakin back and I'm gonna blog and blog and blog haha

Here is how I look now...

Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither.
--- Benjamin Franklin

See ya!

Blogging in general has never been easy...
but despite the odds it's always been fun
though sometimes tedious when I'm not in the mood for my blah, blah, blah

People accuse you of being self-absorbed, narcissistic or vain though I'm a bit of it all... haha
Seriously everyone is self-absorbed sometimes and I admit I'm a bit of a narcissist but never vain.
I spend so much time a long time ago seeing my flaws in the mirror, I'm a different kind of Narcissa I guess.

This picture is ugly, I know.
If journal blogging invites too much ridicule what more is fashion blogging eh?
Especially for plus size women like me.

Someone said I promote obesity for being out and loud proclaiming I'm plus size.
But WTH not everyone can be Size Zero?
I'm just saying "whatever body you're in, own it and be comfortable with your own skin."
There's nothing wrong wanting to lose weight
but since I'm still stuck with this I guess I have to enjoy the perks of being plus size... sarcasm bleh

Arts, Fashion, Aesthetics or whatever isn't superficiality if you don't obsess with it.
I like simple things, I like to enjoy life and by enjoying life I mean celebrating every sense of it.
This is self-expression and creativity if you can't understand that not my damn problem anymore.
But I'll bet my 2 cents on this that my way of life is as simple as it can get.

Freedom... it is.
My inhibitions are out.
I won't let anyone eat me out without a fight.
Life is what you make it.

Stand up and fight even if the reflection screaming at you isn't always looking as good as your best.

It was a bit rainy that night and I've nowhere to go so I hang out for quite sometime in the Gazebo of Metropolitan Cathedral which explains the wet lining of the skirt... haha.

While I was busy taking these photos there was another photographer snapping a few shots behind my back. If only he didn't have a camera it could have been weird. But there a few more who were there and didn't.

I hate it when I wanted some "ME" time and people are popping out in the place where I'm chilling.
I know I don't own the place but still I don't like nosy people who show up just to check
what you're doing when you're just listening to music with your laptop on full speaker volume
and taking snaps alone outside the church
unless they want to strike up a conversation that would be a lot better.

The rain had stopped and the wind started to blow my hair.
It carries the name of thy faith and I've nothing left to do but be mesmerized by the beauty of the moment.

Come... sit a while and think with me.

Sometimes the wind whispers your name and I'm mesmerized...

Finally another outfit post. I decided it's time for me to share some from my fashion blog since this one has a cause and not all just self-improvement and being fashionable.

What do you think it means to live sustainably?

A. Living within Earth's limits
B. Reducing our impact on the earth's resources
C. Making lifestyle and consumer choices to limit our use of resources
D. Living more simply
E. Taking care of nature so nature can take care of us
F. Meeting our needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs
G. Creating a balance between our natural systems, our economic system and our social system
H. All of the above

"Sustainability is the ability to meet present needs without damaging or depleting the environmental, economic or social resources that future generations will need."

I'm an environmentalist and I support Sustainable Living through my own little way. People need not be someone big or join a pageant and pretend they care for the environment for the sake of getting the crown or whatever. It doesn't need to be that grand to contribute in Saving Mother Earth for our simple little ways can actually make a difference. (see Earth Hour)

I'm doing my part by using a reusable sack bag
for shopping, grocery or any other stuff instead of plastic bags.

Photobucket

I bought this reusable shopping bag in 2009 in Greenhills
and until now I still have it and I promise to remind myself to use it every time from now on.

Yep I just pledged to buy second hand
but I've been doing it for years already so that's no sweat and it's cheaper too.
Plus I love vintage and cheap finds so what's not to love about Ukay?
Except for the smell but we can all handle it, I know that all too well.
As they say "Living cheap is the new green."

But I still say it's not being cheap, it's being wise with your resources:
Quality + Affordability = Value
Now add being Green and you just added some purpose in your existence =)

my signature look

It's Black Saturday and I have nothing to do so I decided to play mix and match my style at polyvore.  (inspired by Maxabella)I chose the things that most resemble the existing stuff in my closet. I am eclectic so I find it difficult to actually choose from a lot of styles that I like but this one comes up as a favorite. Since I am also a plus size this set of clothing will be fine with me.

I'm always wearing flip-flops but Havaianas and Crocs aren't for me, my feet slips on them and breaks them so now I settle for something sturdy Manjaru, almost half the price and perfect for my sweaty (eew) feet. I prefer wedges but for this look I know pumps look better but I only wear them for special occasions and the last time I just realized I think I can't wear them anymore my feet's front were hurting because of my weight...aarrgh.

Uniqueness is a must for choosing my accessories but I only wear them on special occasions on a daily basis I only wear a bracelet that looks like that hinged bangle. It isn't really an accessory since it is a Quantum bracelet but it could pass like one.

For the large bag, you can only see me with a bag when I'll be on a trip or I have my laptop with me so I prefer it big. I need something that can accommodate  all my stuff, mostly gadgets.

I am more into monochromatic, classic cuts and pieces and I love vintage stuff and I'm into boho and rocker chic looks too but simplicity and ease are my priorities in choosing stuff but style attract me first then I choose clothes or my fashion stuff with these guide questions in mind:

1. Does it fits me? Meaning, is it flattering my figure or won't make me look extra heavy because I don't need that I am already on that part of my weight so anything that's adding visual weight is a NO, NO.
2. Is it comfortable? Can I sit on it? Can I move freely and won't look like robotic?
3. Is it fashion forward? Can it still be wearable after a few years? It is a bonus for me if it is unique but I try to look for classic pieces something that won't go out of fashion even for years.
4. Wash and wear. I am lazy so obviously as much as possible I want clothes that aren't much of a hassle so something that doesn't need ironing or pressing.
5. Value. Is it affordable? I don't go for cheap. I want my stuff to last so quality is very important for me. I want something with quality but definitely affordable.

So how is your fashion sense? What's your style? And how do you actually choose your stuff?
