I know I had this mention in the post Happiness Is... but I wanted to add pictures for I am very much visual... :)

So here's my list of fave food once again...

  • Italian Food

my #1, northern-style would be my choice. I actually have a recipe of it though I use penne to increase the quantity when serving for family get-together since it is cheaper but they still love it even if it turns out like a baked-macaroni.

any pasta will do

and pizza

  • Filipino Food

Filipino's best and I do have an original recipe for it. (another post)

Full of cholesterol but still a fiesta won't be a fiesta without it :)

A drinking session food buddy, something we call "pulutan".

I love the crunchy ingredients but I don't like the shrimp better have more tinapa bits or smoked fish.

Comfort food for the sick, it never fails. Biggs Diner actually has the best goto in our little  town but that's not what's in the pic :)

Just see for yourself :)

This is something different, a mixture of different ingredients to play with your taste buds.

A Bicol delicacy, I always love since kid.

  • Chinese Food

Something that I love from Chowking :)

 tofu
Something healthy and cheap and delicious. Pan-fry it or a little oil and serve with soy sauce, calamansi with garlic, onions and a little chili.

I can actually cook this too. Well, most of the my fave food I took some time to learn how to cook them since I can't seem to get the particular food just anywhere I go. But Geewan has the best siopao in Naga City for me.

  • Mexican Food

Both are messy to eat but still they are healthy, delicious and something easy to prepare.

  •  Japanese Food

I love noodle soup and this is my fave. Ramen House would be best
but since we don't have it here Korean ramen in a disposable cup
or simply Lucky Me will do and I use chopsticks for fun:)

Nanay Pining (my late grandma) and me on our first shabu-shabu meal
in Manila along with the whole family c/o Uncle Efren.
Veggie, veggie, veggie I don't love them but if it's like this I'll surely eat a lot.

  •  Filipino Street Food

Something very easy to cook.

This is pretty easy to cook and I even know how to make the used oil can filled with water and set to boil which used as a cooker for it.

  • Mc Donald's pancake and french fries

  • burgers especially Stackers

  • any salad will do especially Caesar salad and fruit salad

  • Shawarma
This is my fave kind Sizzling Shawarma coming from a local eats named Haidnhor.

  •  mushroom soup or any soup with garlic bread
Now, I'm missing Kart City and Nay's House in Tarlac. They have the best yet affordable soups I've ever tasted. For quick grab Campbell's will do.

  • cakes especially Blue-berry Cheesecake
I crave for Starbucks... yum!

  • ice creams (double dutch, Häagen-Dazs, Dairy Queen Blizzard)

  • chocolates (Ferrero Rocher, Hershey's Symphony or Kisses with almonds and Macadamia Nuts)

  • some junk foods (Marty's Cracklin Vegetarian Chicharon, Doritos, Pringles, Bread Pan)

  • Besides Alkaline Water... Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino, Mango Shake, Pineapple Juice and Zagu (drinks but decided to include it here anyways)
Zagu: Chocolate or Creme Brulee with extra choco bits :)

  • big fluffy white marshmallows toasted in a bonfire :)

That's it... just seeing all of it in photos make me happy already :)

101 Truths About Me: #2 I laugh easily.

My personality may come strong and complicated but my source of happiness is plain and simple. Little things can make me laugh and smile. A good sometimes corny joke will do.

Here I list the things that can brighten my day:

* lasagna, any pasta and pizza (Italian Food)
* Adobo, lechon, sisig, palabok, goto, dinuguan (Filipino Food)
* butchi and fresh or fried lumpia, tofu, siopao (Chinese Food)
* Tacos and burritos (Mexican Food)
* Ramen and shabu-shabu (Japanese Food)
* Filipino Street Food (fishballs, barbecue, kwek kwek, isaw, betamax, taho, puto)
* Mc Donald's pancake and french fries
* burgers especially Stackers
* any salad will do especially Caesar salad and fruit salad
* Shawarma
* mushroom soup or any soup with garlic bread
* cakes especially Blue-berry Cheesecake
* ice creams (double dutch, Häagen-Dazs, Dairy Queen Blizzard)
* chocolates (Ferrero Rocher, Hershey's Symphony or Kisses with almonds and Macadamia Nuts)
* some junk foods (Marty's Cracklin Vegetarian Chicharon, Doritos, Pringles, Bread Pan)
* Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino, Mango Shake, Pineapple Juice and Zagu
* big fluffy white marshmallows toasted in a bonfire :)

  • Family

Even though we clash and argue still seeing them makes me happy and thankful for having them as my family.

* seeing my mom arrived home safe and sound from her daily commute to work.
Now I get too understand why parents always require their kids to go home and impose a curfew because they worry about them a lot and I am experiencing that now especially if my mom didn't arrive on time... such a state of paranoia.
* seeing everyone in one room all noisy and chaotic
* exploring and trying new things with them
* seeing my mom lighten up her face while asking if her nail polish color is pretty or a new blouse, shoes or bags fit her well
* seeing her happy watching teleserye, some show irritates me but I enjoy sitting with her in the living room and teasing her that she should stop watching anything on TV because it is making her upset be it a news or a stupid character in a certain soap opera.
* eating her home-cooked meal until I am full and she would proudly say her dish is too delicious that I was able to eat it all and I'll just say "It was fine but I'm just too hungry that I can eat anything disgusting at that moment." Of course she knew that no one can make me eat anything that I don't like even if I'm that hungry I would rather sleep than eat and vomit it all in the end.

There are tons of things that I can list here but my blog cannot accommodate all so I think this had given you a sort of a preview to the whole picture.

  • Writing

Yes, obviously this is my solace, my bliss something that I hold on to besides my faith when everything seems out of control.

  • Reading

It spells adventures and fun and nothing like that couldn't make me smile.

  • Pictures

Another medium that takes me away.

  • Music and Movies

Need I say more?

  • Nature

God's gift to mankind, one of the masterpieces. A proof that we are love. Seeing the moon in its horizon is happiness already. Silence and tranquility with the wind breezing in an ocean and the waves splashing into the shore, it's noise and flapping feathers of birds... it's priceless.

  • Friends

They are angels sent from heaven. A hello would do wonders.

  • Babies

I always love kids and seeing one brightens my day in an instant.

Well, it's really impossible to have it all in this entry. Happiness for me is everywhere and I can say that it isn't about money for I don't have that but I am in my happiest state these days. It isn't about material things, having this or that and honestly the only luxury I can consider right now in my life would be having a laptop and a 24/7 net connection (in our present time this is already a necessity and it is true for me since my job is online) and a few trips in a restaurant once in a while.

Started the day at 10am, it's still pretty early for me for I usually wake up around 2pm or 4pm but then I've tried to sleep early last night before 12 midnight...  hehe Well, I don't usually sleep at night I am a nocturnal being had always been since college days and it's still true up to now.

It's my mom who had waken me up because she's been too excited about her visa application and wanted me to scan her documents and email it right on the dot. She even missed work just to make sure I'll do it for her today but she's using being dizzy still about her UTI as an excuse instead.

We had a stroll then downtown... bank, drugstore, fruit vendor...

My mom raised her eyebrows for these junks but I've protested that I haven't had one junk for months now and I promise that this will be eaten spread-out over the days of this month so cool... approved then but with lots of grunting and nasty comments from her :)

Ate at our fave local resto which offers the best local delicacies...

Balanced diet (is a must now, sigh)... all these with one cup of rice and lots, lots of water...

Sinigang na punaw (seafood), some veggies and sweet & sour pork

This was the first time that we ate at the 2nd floor so I wasn't able to discover this until my mom went to use the wash room at the 3rd floor. This little piece of art is hanged on the right wall of the stairs heading to the 3rd floor...
Made of bamboo and every piece looks like a sort of flute and painted with different designs from top to bottom.

I'll google this artist later...

My mom can't start a week without a parlor visit so while she had her mani and pedi... I got my haired shampooed just to have something to do and also it needs it too since it's getting a little oily and felt heavy :)

Checking if it looks fine now :) Well, my hair is hopeless... haha

Heading to the boutique we've discovered these:

This is the oldest of all Biggs' Branches... that's bad.

As well as Banco Filipino... so yes, the rumor is true.

Dropped by at Blue Pearl Boutique...  (see Cats Are Missing so Mice Will Play for the story)

Finally went home...

Tofu and buchi for snacks :)

jonavie or nene, my late sister's god daughter

And there goes my first junk... Wild Willy's Real American Chicharrones: Leslie's Newest Snack ...tsk.tsk.

It's something I'll be looking forward to buy every time I'm in a grocery store... crunchy and yummy just like how Chicharrones should be  :)
